SERVICES: Identifying appropriate investor and structuring investment.
This start up company is involved in the commercialisation of CSIRO technology that makes concrete tilt slab panels for the building industry at half the weight of the currently used concrete and bluestone aggregate panels.
We targeted the appropriate investor, raised $1.6m, negotiated business valuation,
percentage investor would own (including option component), structured
terms payment and finalised Heads of Agreement/ Shareholder’s Agreement.
IT Company
SERVICES: Assisted in the raising of money for a leading edge
entertainment platform company, targeting Asia.
Key skills are to establish a pre money valuation of the business and target appropriate and capable investors. Aragon identified several appropriate investors and assisted with discussions.

Argo Exploration Ltd (ASX Code: AXT)
SERVICES: Lead Manager, IPO.
Argo Exploration Ltd (“Argo”) raised $7 million from an IPO and listed in early December 2006. Market capitalisation at issue price was $14.4 million. Aragon’s key function was to raise funds through our network of clients (institutions and high net worth investors) and other financial intermediaries (mainly our network of stockbrokers). As a result of our reading of the investment markets at the time, we advised the company not to seek underwriting support as we deemed it unnecessary, time consuming and expensive. In addition, we provided advice regarding structuring and use of professional advisors. We raised sufficient funds to close the issue early and proceed to listing. The company raised money at 20c.
Harrington Group Ltd (ASX Code: HGR)
SERVICES: Advisor to the issue.
HGR is a medical devices company that owns a “best of breed” saliva based illicit drug test process. The cost effective drug test is currently being marketed in Australasia, USA and Europe.

FDL is an Australian based diamond explorer.

SERVICES: Advisor to $3.3m rights issue.
SLT is a lifescience company specialising in the development of vaccines for the treatment of flu, hepatitis C, malaria vaccine and rapid diagnostic tests for HIV and Syphilis. Key research partner is the world renowned Burnet Institute.
Virax Holdings Ltd (ASX: VHL)
SERVICES: Manager $3.67m placement.
VHL is a lifescience company involved in developing a new class of drugs called immuno-therapeutics. VHL is developing immuno-therapeutics to treat life threatening diseases including cancer, HIV/ AIDS and infectious diseases.
Metal Storm Ltd (ASX Code: MST)
SERVICES: Manager for $21.5m placement
MST has revolutionary technology that electronically fires projectiles thereby making redundant the three hundred year old “percussion” technology. The ability to rapidly fire many rounds of differing calibre per second and the absence of heat build up, results in a paradigm shift in military applications.
